Our solar system is composed of the Sun and some astronomical objects bound to it by gravity. All of these were from 4.6543 billion years ago by the crash of a giant molecular cloud.
Also, two huge regions (populated by small objects) are found in our solar system:
- The Asteroid belt: lying between Mars and jupiter
- The solar wind: a flow of plasma from the Sun
